Over the last year, Nenescape and One to One Development Trust have been inviting people to tell us their connections to the River Nene through our project, ‘900 Voices of the Nene’. Bringing together a collection of written stories, video, music and poetry, the contributions will be stored in a publicly accessible archive, which officially launches on 8 December, with a VIP launch on 7 December.
In order to thank National Lottery players who fund projects like ‘900 Voices of the Nene’ through the Heritage Lottery Fund, we are delighted to launch a competition.
If you would like to be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets to the exclusive VIP launch of the ‘900 Voices’ archive on Friday 7 December and see the interactive digital art installation for yourself, you can tweet or post a picture of your National Lottery ticket (digital or paper) or scratchcard using the hashtags #900VoicesNene and #ThanksToYou. You can also use your tweet or post to tell us why the river is special to you and contribute your connection to the archive. The event starts at 6pm in the Knights Chamber at Peterborough Cathedral.
