Other opportunities

Job vacancies

No current vacancies

We have recently employed 2 interns to join our team for the Summer, who will support our Resilient River and Nene Valley Festival projects.  We hope to offer more internship and work placements over the course of the year, so keep coming back to check for the latest opportunities.

Internships

In partnership with the University of Northampton and Santander, we are able to offer a small number of internships over the course of our five year project. Internships are 20 weeks part time or 10 weeks full time for final year students and graduates of the University of Northampton. Students receive a bursary of £3,000, jointly funded by Santander and Nenescape. To view new opportunities and apply, please visit the Unitemps website.

Work placements

The work placement programme is fully funded by Santander and the student completes 72 hours with the partnership. The programme is for first and second year students and each student receives a bursary of £600. These will be open for applications via the Unitemps website.

Work experience

We are also able to host students who want to complete a two-week work placement as part of their study. This is not funded by the university and therefore offered as volunteer time. We have a range of opportunities, so please get in touch to find out more.

If you are interested in joining the team under a work experience placement or internship, please complete an expression of interest form (download here) and return it to us.

Promoting opportunities

If you are a charitable organisation or social enterprise in the heritage or environment sectors in the Nene Valley, we can promote your volunteer opportunities on this website for free for as long as you need. If you would like our support, then please download this simple form, return it to us (alison@rnrp.org) and we will get the information up on this website as soon as we can.
